Session on Frugal Innovation (with a focus on grassroots innovation)

On 21 November 2017 a half-day seminar on frugal innovation, with a focus on grassroots innovation will be organised by the International Institute of Social Studies (ISS), Partos, the Prince Claus Chair and the Centre for Frugal Innovation in Africa (CFIA). Former Prince Claus chairholder, Saradindu Bhaduri, has researched grassroots innovation throughout his term as chairholder and will return to the ISS for the seminar in order to help foster collaboration between academia and practitioners.


We will zoom in on grassroots innovation in food security and energy, but interesting examples from other sectors are more than welcome! Do you have an interesting case to share?
