Workshop: policy recommendations from the Partos Shift-the-Power Lab

The Partos Shift-the-Power Lab 2.0, part of the Partos Innovation Hub, has initiated a working group developing policy recommendations towards a more power balanced and effective policy framework strengthening civil society. The aim is to contribute to the design of the successor of the current policy framework that is expected to be launched in 2025.

Apart from this process from a Shift-the-Power point of view, Partos will also initiate a more general process to formulate recommendations for the future policy framework for strengthening civil society.

  • Date and time 29 March 2023, 10:00 - 11:30 CET
  • Where Zoom
  • For whom Partos members

In this workshop we gather feedback on the discussion paper

The discussion paper is inspired by the learnings from the Partos ‘Dream paper‘ and the Partos Strategic Partnership Lab learning sessions. Whereas the Dream paper addressed a very broad spectrum of factors that are at the root of imbalanced power relations in development cooperation, this discussion paper focuses specifically on the factors related to the policy that are within the span of control of the Ministry. Other non-policy-related factors that CSOs need to change themselves are not addressed in this paper. These changes are explored by other working groups that are part of the Partos Shift-the-Power Lab 2.0.
