Over the last 3 years, the Partos Climate Justice Community of Practice has provided a platform that brings together professionals from a wide range of organizations, working on programmes that promote climate justice in different ways. We have had inspiring learning sessions on a wide range of topics, such as climate finance, nature-based solutions and locally led adaptation.
This year, the Climate Justice CoP will come to an end. Therefore, we are organizing a closing session to look back at what we have learned and plant seeds for future collaboration. Together with the The Hague Humanity Hub, we are hosting this session as an opportunity to (re)connect with each other, share challenges and explore possibilities to work together in the future.
The session also provides a chance to situate the CoP’s work within the broader community of changemakers connected to The Hague Humanity Hub. At the Hub, the Climate Justice community is a network of actors working at the intersection of climate, peace, and justice. By bringing together diverse voices, the Hub aims to foster dialogue, spark collaboration, and support collective action toward a more just and resilient future. In this context, the Hub’s Climate Justice community hopes to explore ways in which some of the initiatives developed under the Partos Community of Practice (CoP) can continue to grow and inspire further collaboration.
What to expect
During the session we will present the Climate Justice learning document with the main insights and learning from the past years. Apart from looking back on the past years, we want to look forward and identify concrete opportunities for collaboration beyond this community in the future. Together we will explore: How can we keep collaborating to put climate justice principles into practice?
Using Open Space Technology, you will help shape the agenda by bringing forward the topics and ideas that matter most right now. Together, we’ll explore what issues and challenges still need attention, and how we can continue to support each other and work together in the future.
Join us for this in-person session and bring your best ideas, questions and challenges!
