Edukans is looking for 2 motivated volunteers/interns to support the development of our new multi-annual strategy. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a transformative process while gaining valuable insights, knowledge and skills on strategic planning, research, market analysis, and organizational development.
Volunteer / intern opportunity
Strategic Process Support
(2-3 days per week, 6 months)
Location: one in Amersfoort, the Netherlands and one in one of our country offices
Responsibilities
- Conduct desk research on key education trends, market dynamics, and sector developments.
- Compile and analyze data from internal and external questionnaires.
- Support stakeholder mapping and benchmarking studies.
- Assist in tracking progress, preparing updates, and maintaining documentation.
- Help coordinate strategic workshops and internal meetings.
- Provide general support in structuring findings and translating them into strategic insights.
Your Profile
- Currently pursuing or holding a degree in International Development, Education, Political Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and research skills, with experience in compiling and synthesizing information.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Interest in education, NGO strategy, and international development.
- Experience with data analysis, desk research, or strategic processes is a plus.

Edukans is an international organisation with offices in the Netherlands, Kenya, Malawi, Ethiopia and Uganda. Around 25 colleagues work in the Netherlands and 45 in the country offices.
