Global Policy Manager

  • Locatie: Netherlands (hybrid working model with some home-working and some attendance at a coworking space in Amsterdam or the Hague on a weekly basis
  • Uur per week: 35 hours (currently trialling a 4.5 day week = 32 hours)

We are currently looking to recruit a full-time Global Policy Manager based in the Netherlands.

About the role

This role is central to Penal Reform International’s success in achieving criminal justice systems that are human rights-based, fair and effective.

You will be based in the Netherlands and work closely with the Executive Director to lead Penal Reform International’s global policy and advocacy work and to ensure that PRI is impactful in achieving its strategic priorities.

You will also work closely with the regional programme directors and staff across PRI to ensure that the policy and global advocacy work of PRI is grounded in our local and national experiences and knowledge. The role is also responsible for implementing Policy Programme-led projects, including PRI’s Global Prison Trends programme.

You will engage in senior level advocacy engagement with the UN system, its member states and other civil society groups. You will also extensively represent PRI externally at events.
