NLR is looking for a Coordinator of its information platforms with public health, relationship management, ICT affinity and tactical thinking skills

Our Programmes, Research & Partnerships Department works with international partners on impactful initiatives and research on the road towards a world without leprosy. The team consists of 10 professional colleagues, reporting into the Head of the Department.

To strengthen this team we are looking for a: Coordinator Infolep and InfoNTD (36 hours per week)

As our new Information Platforms Coordinator you will independently manage the Infolep and InfoNTD portals, improve the platforms, and update information and articles on them. In this position you will collaborate with the partners and users of Infolep & InfoNTD and promote the sustainability of the portals in a rapidly changing technological landscape.

What will you do as Coordinator Infolep and InfoNTD?

The coordinator maintains contact with (potential) partners, stakeholders, users and information and communication technology (ICT) suppliers. The coordinator:
o Is responsible for the portals: leads on the improvement and expansion of functionalities particularly with artificial intelligence tools, tests the feasibility for this expansion, sets priorities and coordinates with the ICT suppliers.
o Contributes to the content on the Infolep & InfoNTD portals until this can be fully automated: collecting, selecting, labelling, and uploading relevant data, documents and publications.
o Actively keeps abreast of relevant internal and external developments in the field of leprosy, NTDs and cross-cutting issues.
o Proactively enlarges, develops and creates partnerships and collaborations for Infolep & InfoNTD and the e-learning platform currently linked to InfoNTD.

Your profile

As Coordinator InfoLep and InfoNTD, you are a strong collaborator with a flexible mentality and the ability to initiate new ideas. You have a proactive attitude and are willing to further develop and share your knowledge and expertise. You maintain a clear overview of the strategic needs and opportunities for the portals. The following competencies and requirements are important for this position:

o Academic working and thinking level.
o Several years of work experience in a similar position.
o Knowledge and experience in developing IT services, contact with end-users in an international context.
o Experience in networking, building and maintaining partnerships and working within the international development and/or health sector.
o Good command of the English language in word and writing.
o Advanced communication skills when it comes to connecting with customers.

We offer

• A one-year contract with the possibility of extension.
• A gross monthly salary, depending on experience, ranging from € 4,032 to € 5,646 for a full-time, 38-hour week.
• 8% holiday allowance and a 4% year-end bonus.
