About the job
As a Financial Project Administrator/Controller, you are responsible for setting up clear project structures, financial solidity and compliance. You play a key role in the financial project cycle: from developing budget proposals to preparing financial reports. You will:
- Draft project-budgets based on financial guidelines and cost calculations
- Set up the financial administration of projects
- Review project contracts and financial terms
- Advise Programme Managers on the financial aspects of their work
- Draft financial reports, ensuring they are complete and compliant
- Prepare and coordinate project audits
- Contribute to the quarterly and annual accounts, in cooperation with the financial controller
About you
We’re looking for a finance professional with an analytical and problem solving attitude and a keen eye for detail. You will work closely with the Financial Controller but handle your tasks independently and pro-actively. You will report directly to the director. Furthermore you bring:
- A degree in accounting, business economics or a similar field (Bachelor or Master)
- Experience with financial planning, monitoring and reporting of (subsidised) projects
- Experience with ERP-systems, preferably Exact Online
- The ability to analyse problems and at the same time maintain oversight
- Accuracy and a drive to deliver high quality work
- Planning skills and ability to manage deadlines
- Excellent communication skills
- A good command of English, Dutch is a plus
- A valid work permit and residence in The Netherlands

- Salary between € 3,413 and € 4,743 per month, depending on experience
- End of year allowance of 4.6% (can also be paid out monthly)
- Holiday allowance of 8% (can also be paid out monthly)
- 23 vacation days and 15 ‘adv’-holidays (flexible).
- Monthly allowance of € 50,- for remote working
- Possibility to receive compensation for (ergonomic) home office equipment.
- Pension with ABP
