A Future We Want

The overall festival theme this year will be A future we want. Together we will explore innovative and transformative ways to become future-fit in the field of development cooperation. Partos chose this cross-cutting theme to follow up on its Future Exploration in the past year. Development cooperation is changing and to be(come) resilient and adequately flexible towards the future, we initiated a transformative scenario planning process. Together with a cross-section of players in sector, we explored ways in which the future might develop as well as ‘A future we want’. A future we want is an inspiring vision of a desirable future. A future that invites the sector to go beyond a reactive approach and that describes how Dutch development cooperation can transform towards a regenerative future. Let's start creating one at the Partos Innovation Festival!

The Awards

Partos/The Spindle invite you to join The Awards 2018! As an innovation platform, we promote innovative initiatives that are focused on creating a fairer, more inclusive, sustainable world. This year we honour awards in four categories: Best Innovation for Development, Best Humanitarian Innovation, the Celebrating Inclusion Award and The Summer Labs / Best Idea for Development. The best participants of each category will present their initiative during the Partos Innovation Festival 2018 – and run for prize money, coaching and the undivided attention of the Dutch NGO-sector, potential investors and donors.

Are you working on an innovative initiative that is or will significantly contribute to development, humanitarian aid or inclusivity? Check out which award suits you best and apply before July 31st 2018!
