Over dit event

Bond UK is organising this inspiring session on the difficulties of bank de-risking.

Bank de-risking continues to be a significant operational challenge for NGOs, multilateral agencies, and other organisations in the humanitarian and development space, especially those working in highly fragile, sanctioned or high-risk jurisdictions. Join us for an interactive webinar in partnership with Crown Agents Bank.

We will explore:

  • The drivers of bank de-risking and the regulatory pressures behind it
  • The real-world impact on humanitarian access, programme delivery and financial inclusion
  • Practical approaches to mitigating the risks and maintaining access to essential financial services

Participants will:

  • Understand why banks are pulling out of high-risk regions and the impact on aid delivery
  • Learn how de-risking affects INGOs and local partners in fragile contexts
  • Discover practical ways to maintain access to financial services
  • Be equipped to advocate for an inclusive and equitable financial system
