Masterclass: 360 Degree Strategy (Global Gateway)

Earlier this year, the EU presented the 360-degree approach designed to ensure that development impact remains a priority in investments under the Global Gateway. It is a promising framework, but at the same time there is a great deal of uncertainty surrounding its implementation. What does this new strategy mean for civil society organisations? What does it mean for accessibility and funding? We will be speaking to three experts.

  • Date and time 12 November 2026, 15:00 - 17:00 CET
  • Where TBA
  • For Civil society organisations working on EU policy or funding

This is the third session in the Masterclass series on EU funding. In this session, we will discuss the limitations and opportunities presented by the 360-degree approach in the Global Gateway. The aim of this session is to inform civil society organisations about what the strategy entails and how it relates to their work: from advocacy to fundraising. Through this session, Partos aims to facilitate a discussion on this topic and identify why the strategy is relevant to civil society and what is needed to ensure it is effective.

We will be speaking with three experts from different fields.

  • Borja Arrue – Senior Policy and Advocacy Advisor at CONCORD Europe
  • Anas Talalqa – Programme Development and Quality Manager at CARE Netherlands
  • The Global Gateway Team – Ministry of Foreign Affairs
