Partos Innovation Hub
The Partos Innovation Hub supports innovators working within Dutch development organizations to develop new solutions for a just, inclusive and sustainable world. It does so based on three intervention strategies: connecting, agenda-setting, and facilitating innovation labs. The focus is on change and innovation opportunities for civil society organizations in the Netherlands and their partners in the Global South, in seven thematic areas: civic power, inclusion, new ways of organising and working together, data and digital technology, hope-based & inclusive communication, Strategic Partnerships and quality & integrity.
The program operates based on a regularly adapted, strategic agenda for collective learning and innovation. Moreover, it will be informed by the change that both Northern and Southern-based civil society organizations see as relevant for resilient, inclusive and effective civil society partnerships, and inspired by lessons and innovations from innovators in global civil society and other sectors.
The ultimate outcome we aim to achieve is that important lessons and innovative solutions emerging from this programme will be adopted by members of Partos and their partners in the South, with a view to making them more effective and efficient in their missions.
Feedback-Feedforward Group
To make sure that the Team stays sharp and on target, we have established the Feedback-Feedforward group (FF-Group). The FF will meet every four months to review and provide feedback on current activities, discuss new trends and innovations and formulate recommendations for the way forward. In addition, the FF-group may give solicited and unsolicited advice on any strategies, working processes and activities of the Partos Innovation Hub related to PMEL-procedures. The FF-group will help us:
- To commit to a best efforts obligation with regard to achieving ultimate outcomes and impact;
- To ensure that the program will be responsive to new developments and insights;
- To ensure that the program is outward oriented.
Members of the FF-group are representatives of members of Partos, Southern partners of Partos member organizations and other innovators from civil society (Global South, Global North) or other sectors (private sector, academic community etc.). The first FF-group is composed of:
Elena Mejía is a feminist and human rights activist, and one of the leaders of Foro Juvenil de Izquierda (Left Youth Forum) – a youth collective on issues of inequality and human rights in Peru, and director of Búho Teatro Hip Hop, a young independent theatre company.
Luca Genovese is Senior Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL) manager at Save the Children The Netherlands.
Moses Isooba is a human rights activist and governance specialist, the director of Uganda NGO Forum (the Ugandan equivalent of Partos) and one of the founders of the pan-African movement Africans Rising.
