Shared Services | Partos and Acolad once more consolidate translation strength

Partos and Acolad entered into an agreement this autumn, whereby the latter supports Partos members in multilingual communication. Thanks to this agreement, Acolad has been able to make arrangements with translators, offering attractive rates on all their services for our members.

Acolad provides high-quality professional translations adapted to each client’s terminology, style and requirements. They have years of experience translating texts for various NGOs and utilise cutting-edge technologies.

Advanced thechnologies

An example of the advanced technologies that Acolad uses is translation memories. These record each translation, ensuring identical segments in future texts can be translated from it, thus saving costs and ensuring consistency. Acolad has created a translation memory for Partos members free of charge.

An extensive network of professional translators

Acolad furthermore has an extensive network of professional translators specialising in multiple fields of expertise. As a result, they deliver translations that understand the specific terminology and nuances of each field. The strict quality assurance system Acolad has in place ensures that every translation meets the highest standards. This includes the use of revisers and proofreaders.

A wide range of language combinations

Acolad offers a wide range of language combinations through its global network of offices and translators. It enables them to serve clients who operate internationally and need translations in multiple languages. The main language combinations offered by Acolad are:

  • Dutch – English
  • Dutch – French
  • Dutch – Arabic
  • Dutch – Portuguese
  • English – Dutch
  • English – French
  • English – Arabic
  • English – Portuguese

More than simply translation services

Acolad offers more than simply translation services. Other available services include: subtitling, voice-overs, sworn translations, copywriting/transcreation, DTP work, E-learning modules (localisation and formatting of an E-learning), and various interpreting services (intercept interpreting, sign language interpreting and written interpreting).

Do you want to know more?

For more information, please contact Edris Mehrbaz. He can explain how our translation memory works and what its benefits are, among other things. Partos members can also request a no-obligation quote from him.

You can also request the rates for various translation services from Acolad by Partos colleague Marleen Kooij.
