Finance Intern

WECF is looking for a proactive, curious, and organised intern to support our Finance department. In this role, you will gain hands-on experience with core financial processes within an international non-profit, working closely with our finance team to ensure accurate and timely administration. This is a great opportunity for a motivated student to develop practical finance and accounting skills while contributing to an organisation dedicated to gender equality and environmental justice.

Overview 

  • Utrecht, The Netherlands (Hybrid)
  • 24 hours, at least 6 months
  • Starting in August

Who we are

What will you do? 

  • Booking of invoices in Zenvoices
  • Timesheets booking in Exact
  • Monitoring of Timewriting process
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Reviewing partner and subgrantees financial reports

Are you the person we are looking for? 

  • Currently enrolled in Business Studies or Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related fields.
  • Proactive, organised, and able to work independently in a remote team environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and online collaboration tools (Zoom, Teams, Google Drive, WhatsApp).
