The start of this trajectory took place on Africa day on the 28th of May. In the five following weeks, Partos will organise two thematic sessions per week with its members and relevant stakeholders. During each session, recommendations will be formulated, bundled and published before the summer to be presented to the Minister of Foreign Trade and Development Cooperation, Liesje Schreinemacher.
For every session, a panel of experts will be compiled (NGOs, African representatives, academics) to discuss the thematics of the session and to formulate recommendations led by a moderator. Participants can offer their input and follow the conversation online.
Three sessions have already taken place in the past two weeks, on civic space, climate justice and food security. Based on input from speakers from various African countries, relevant recommendations have been made.
A group organises every thematic session. For the overview of the sessions, please see below.
Registration of these sessions has expired. You can read the outcomes here; Recommendations Partos Input Sessions Africa Strategy.
