Become a member of Partos

As a branche association, Partos brings together around 100 Dutch organisations committed to bringing about structural improvements to living conditions in the Global Majority. As a member, you become part of a powerful network of organisations working together towards a just and sustainable world. You share knowledge and experience, collaborate on innovation, and increase the impact of both your organisation and the sector as a whole. Members gain access to, amongst other things, knowledge-sharing sessions, training courses, working groups and advocacy. In addition, you have voting rights within the association and can play an active role in shaping Partos’ direction.

Who can become a member?

An organisation can become a member of Partos if it meets the following criteria:

Its activities are aimed at bringing about structural improvements to living conditions in countries in the Global Majority, either directly or indirectly.

The organisation is an independent legal entity and is permanently established in the Netherlands.

The organisation reports regularly on its results and operates with financial transparency.

The organisation is demonstrably part of the Dutch social infrastructure, for example through donors, members, volunteers, partners or target groups in the Netherlands.

The organisation’s working methods and activities are in line with the Partos Code of Conduct.

The organisation must have been in existence for at least three years.

Membership fees

The Partos membership fee structure is clear and transparent for members and prospective members. In the overview Explanation of the new Partos Contribution System, you will find the costs and an explanation of the system.
