Targeted learning pathways as a foundation
In 2026, we will be working along three thematic strands:
- Digital Readiness
- Focused on the responsible use of AI, cybersecurity and strengthening digital autonomy within the sector.
- Equitable Partnerships
- With a focus on equal partnership, decolonisation and locally-led cooperation.
- Future-ready International Cooperation
- Focusing on future-proof working practices in a context of shrinking space for civil society organisations and shifting geopolitical relations.
Within these learning pathways, we develop activities that address the current concerns of our members and partners.
By and for members
A key principle is that the agenda is not set in stone in advance. Partos facilitates, but the content comes from the members. They put themes on the agenda, provide substantive input and shape the learning pathways. This creates a programme that is directly relevant to practice.
Partos’ role
Partos acts as a connector and system coordinator. This means that we:
- create space for coordination
- make complex or sensitive themes discussable
- highlight systemic bottlenecks
- connect organisations with one another, even across existing silos
Partos is not a knowledge producer in this context, but facilitates the joint learning process.
Dual-track: from practice to decision-making
A new feature of the approach is the so-called dual-track approach. Within each learning pathway, we work with two tracks:
- Practitioner track – for programme staff, focusing on learning, exchange and practical tools (for example, through working groups and peer learning)
- Leadership track – for management and senior leadership, focusing on mandate, resources and strategic choices (through short, thematic dialogues)
By connecting both levels, we strengthen both the capacity for implementation and decision-making within organisations.
Continued focus on integrity and quality
In addition to the learning pathways, Partos remains active on two key themes: integrity and quality. We work with partners on sector-wide coordination, support members with quality systems and maintain dialogue with the Ministry regarding relevant frameworks and requirements.
