Visibility, positioning & campaigns

Strengthening the voice of international cooperation and mobilising people. International cooperation deserves a firm and recognisable place in public and political debate. Partos works with its members to raise awareness, shape public perception and run campaigns that highlight why international cooperation matters and what is at stake.

We bring relevant stories, results and perspectives from the sector to the attention of the media, politicians and the public. We identify opportunities for joint communication, support members in dealing with the press and acting as spokespersons, and work to establish a strong and recognisable voice for the sector.

Sometimes a social or political issue requires more than just visibility. In such cases, we pool the strength of our members and partners through joint campaigns and mobilisation. In this way, we link public communication with political advocacy and coalition-building.

Through campaigns such as Ontwikkeling werkt (translated: Development Works) and Nederland is geen eiland (translated: The Netherlands is no island), we draw the attention of the public and politicians to international cooperation and demonstrate why international solidarity is important.

We work on:

  • press relations, spokesperson services and media relations;
  • public positioning and opinion-forming;
  • impact stories and real-life examples;
  • joint media and public campaigns;
  • political communication and mobilisation;
  • coalition-building and joint advocacy.
