CoP Inclusive Communication #11 – Evaluation and plans for the CoP

Looking back on almost 2 years of the Community of Practice

With the CoP on Inclusive Communication, we learned a lot about how to be more conscious about inclusive communication practices and involve people from the global south in our communications. We discussed the principles of inclusive communication and which words we are going to use or (try) to refrain from.

In this session, we will look back on all the things we discussed, and Future Brief 3 will be presented.

The next step

Also, we’ll look forward to the next step: How to implement an inclusive communication working practice and overcome the obstacles on this road. As usual, the guide is just the beginning and a tool for learning and reflecting. It is up to you to implement the ideas and principles presented in the guide into your organisation. But what is an effective way to do so? And what problems are there to face? Answering those questions can be the next step for the Community of Practice.
